The University of Otago Business School is launching the AI Residency, a new executive programme focused on leadership judgement, governance, and accountability for artificial intelligence.

Designed for senior leaders and board members, the in-person residency addresses the practical challenge many organisations now face: AI tools are already in use, but decision rights, ownership, and governance often lag behind. The programme focuses on helping leaders make clear, defensible choices about where AI adds value, where it introduces risk, and who is accountable for outcomes.

The AI Residency runs 19–21 May 2026 in Queenstown, during NZ Tech Week.
